The restaurant would be opened from 7 pm to 10 pm everyday as well as this fine dine restaurant also organise lunch buffet in working days or as I say Tuesday to saturday from 12 noon to 3 pm and in sunday or other public holiday from 11 am to 3 pm as well. You can enjoy mouth watering items in your office break or you can enjoy it with your family. It is another venture of West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO).

The entry fee is 100 rs/each and you can get only 45 minutes on each ticket to explore the whole place. I think the time duration is not so enough to explore & enjoy the majestic view as well as enjoy the snacks.
So, when we talk about the food and snacks of the restaurant here it is the full menu of Biswa Bangla Gate Cafeteria.

Honestly speaking, I personally tried fish fry, Chicken chop, Prawn cutlet and chicken sandwich (double layer).  The prawn cutlet is the only item that reached up to the mark and the taste of the other items are average or not so good. Especially, I think the price of snack items are also slightly high. And the foods are overrated.
But in terms of the view, Biswa Bangla Gate got full marksKolkata.

When we talk about the Fine Dine restaurant of Biswa Bangla Gate, I must say that most of the dishes are much better in terms of taste and flavor. Many dishes are available for soups and salads, vegetarian & non-vegetarian starters, main course as well. I specially recommended that you must try Caesar Salad Veg / Chicken Tikka, Chicken Hawaiian Salad in the vegetarian starter & Chicken Pahari Tikka, Lat Me Kai if you want to taste some non-vegetarian starter as well. The rate of Fish Orly & Prawn Aglio Olio Peppercino is slightly high otherwise all the dishes in the starter menu are available at a reasonable price and are very tasty.

Now, when we talking about the main course both veg and non-veg dishes are ready to serve. My recommendation is, you must taste Paneer Tikka Tak – A – Tak, Vegetable Jhalfrezi, Aloo Do Piaza from veg, & Chicken Tikka LababdarFish Tikka Butter Masala, Murgh Reshmi Masala from the non-veg menu. the veg dishes are available at a reasonable price but non-veg dishes are costly. Besides this, Chinese veg & non-veg main course dishes and risotto are available as well. Honestly speaking, I ordered Exotic Vegetables Mixed Sauce Risotto, but the dish is not up to the mark and a little bit costly too. But, If you plan a romantic candlelight dinner with your partner, no place is better than this, I assure you that!!
After having the main course if you wish to get some desserts & beverages they also have some fine dishes, sweets and ice cream to fulfill your wish.
You may taste cream camel, Gulab jamun or ice cream in the desert. All of the above dishes & the ice cream is very tasty and also at a reasonable price.
